Enforcement Officer

IMH Recruitment are currently seeking a Town Centre PSPO Enforcement Officer for our client based in Bolton, BL3. About the Role: You will play a key role in reducing anti-social behaviour, improving the local environment, and enforcing Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) and environmental regulations across Bolton, including the town centre. Key Responsibilities: Patrol designated areas and provide a visible enforcement presence. Detect, deter, and address anti-social behaviour. Enforce PSPOs, littering offences, and environmental regulations. Issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and prepare enforcement notices. Gather evidence and investigate incidents to support legal action and prosecutions. Maintain accurate records using PACE notebooks and other systems. Attend court as a witness when required. Engage with members of the public, offering guidance, support, and warnings where appropriate. Work closely with partner agencies, stakeholders, and council services. Promote community responsibility and environmental improvement. What We''re Looking For: Understanding of anti-social behaviour legislation and enforcement practices. Knowledge of issues affecting local communities and town centres. Experience working with the public and handling challenging situations. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to remain professional and authoritative when necessary. Full, clean UK driving licence. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Basic ..... full job details .....
