As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure the city''s highways are free from obstruction and misuse, the council is recruiting a Highway Enforcement Officer for a short-term contract with the potential for extension.Your new role As a Highway Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing obstructions, encroachments, and non-compliant use of the city''s highways and roads. This includes monitoring businesses and vehicles that may be in breach of regulations. You will collect evidence, follow up on cases, and ensure appropriate enforcement actions are taken.
