Energy Systems Engineer

An excellent opportunity to join an Edinburgh based Energy Company as an Energy Systems Engineer is now available. You will be joining a company who possess an impressive history of progression within their field and are continuing to grow. Working across a wide range of markets, reducing emissions and improving energy security are focal points of the business. You will be joining an established team of Engineers so if you have a solid foundation in Engineering with a willingness to learn, you will be able to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

• Project managing the technical onboarding of new sites to the companies optimisation systems.
• Requirements capture, design, test and commission of the companies outstation equipment.-
• Carrying out qualification injection testing.-
• Developing technical solutions for new services.-
• Investigating and analysing faults and carrying out repair for live sites

Essential

• A degree in electrical, mechanical, renewable energy engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of the electricity industry in the UK.-
• Able to demonstrate analytical, technical and project management skills, and be an effective communicator and team-worker.-
• Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.-
• Good IT skills (preferably including engineering design applications).
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation with a strong interest in demand side management and smart grid development.-
• Full UK/EU driving licence, as this role required travel within the UK.

Remuneration:

• Salary - -35-40K
• Life cover 4x salary
