Overview
Energy and Sustainability Manager role at Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will join the Estates Senior Management Team (SMT) within the Capital, Estates and Facilities directorate, contributing to a forward-thinking group with a track record of delivery and continuous improvement.Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, operational management and delivery of the organisation''s green plan initiatives; maximise resource and investment toward achieving sustainability goals; identify and pursue opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.Provide expert advice and communicate complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders; represent the organisation at regional level as required.Work closely with the Capital, Estates and Facilities (CEF) senior leadership team to ensure compliance with contractual terms and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with a focus on statutory and mandatory requirements, best practice compliance and due diligence audits.Demonstrate a values-led approach that respects GMMH service users and their carers and embraces the organisation''s core values.Collaborate with internal teams to support sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with the Trust''s strategic goals.Organisation

Significant experience in energy, sustainability or estates management, with a track record of strategy development and delivery of green initiatives.Strong communication skills with the ability to provide expert advice and convey complex information to stakeholders; confident in representing the organisation regionally.Experience working with senior leadership teams to ensure compliance with contractual terms and KPIs; understanding of statutory, mandatory and best practice compliance and due diligence audits.Evidence of a values-led, patient-centred approach aligned with the organisation''s core ..... full job details .....
