Energy Markets Research AnalystGraduate OpportunityJob Type: full-time, permanentLocation: Redhill, SurreySalary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experienceAbout the RoleAs an Energy Markets Research Analyst, you ll work within our Markets, Trading and Risk function, supporting senior risk managers and analysts across UK and European power, gas, emissions, coal and sustainable fuels.You ll help deliver market intelligence, support client risk strategies, and build the tools that keep our portfolio decisions sharp. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility from day one.What You ll Be Doing Market analysis - Support fundamental, statistical and regulatory analysis across UK and European energy markets.Risk and exposure monitoring - Track client exposure, financial risk and portfolio movements.Technical development - Build and enhance internal tools using Python, SQL and Power BI.Daily reporting - Publish daily market movements and product activity summaries.Trading and hedging support - Assist with hedging needs, trade capture and position validation.Research and insight - Contribute to newsletters, publications and client briefings.Team collaboration - Work closely with consultants, analysts and risk managers to deliver high-quality ERM services.
