Endoscopy Decontamination Technician - Weekend

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join a centralised decontamination unit in Enfield, providing essential weekend cover. Key Responsibilities Receive used endoscopes transported from the hospital via the in-house logistics service. Carry out the full decontamination and reprocessing cycle in line with departmental procedures and infection prevention standards. Operate specialist decontamination equipment, including: Getinge ED-Flow Washer Disinfector Getinge Drying Cabinets Getinge Vac-A-Scope Packing System Inspect, process, dry, pack and prepare endoscopes for safe return to the hospital. Ensure all equipment is handled safely and correctly throughout the decontamination process. Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with required procedures. Essential Requirements Previous experience working within an Endoscopy Decontamination Department is essential. Practical experience of endoscope decontamination and reprocessing.
