Encapsulation Team Leader

Job Title: Encapsulation Team Leader Location: Pulborough Salary: £34K - 40K DOE Main Objectives Responsible for the supervision of the encapsulation process for electro mechanical assemblies and hands on encapsulation processes. Key Responsibilities Planning, allocating, and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule and other internal customers in line with capacity requirements. Maintenance and filter change of Spray booth in accordance with procedures. Sealing, priming, encapsulating and mechanical assembly of units for encapsulation. Operating automated equipment to pour encapsulation into assemblies. Carrying out routine maintenance checks and cleaning of potting machine, compressor and vac pump and training other employees to ensure maintenance tasks are completed. Training employees to ensure there is essential backup for encapsulation tasks. Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes. Working as part of a team to ensure departmental objectives are achieved. Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards, repair techniques and ESD requirements are implemented. Working with other team members to continuously improve quality and processes, maintain and improve housekeeping in accordance with 5S tasks and cleanliness of work area.
