Job Title: Site EHS AdvisorLocation: Ramsgate, Kent Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (3 months) likely to be extended Working Pattern: Full Time onsite Daily Rate: £500 - £550 Outside IR35About the Role: Our client is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Site EHS Advisor to champion health, safety, and environmental (EHS) practises on-site. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to provide operational EHS support and ensure compliance with safety regulations throughout the project life cycle. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of zero harm and sustainable practises within the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Safety Leadership: Provide visible and active EHS leadership, acting as a champion for health, safety, and environmental well-being.Communication: Implement safety communications across all personnel, organise monthly Safety Representative forums, and roll out general safety campaigns.EHS Management of Subcontractors: Monitor subcontractor work against accepted Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and report non-compliance.Monitoring andamp; Assessment: Conduct routine and non-routine checks and inspections, documenting findings and escalating unsafe acts or conditions to the site management team.Incident Management: Review safety observations and manage incident investigations, including root cause analysis.Emergency Response: Facilitate local emergency response drills and monitor emergency response ..... full job details .....
