      <description>Location: Milton Keynes | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Our client has a vacancy for an Employment Solicitor (2 to 5 years PQE). The ideal candidate should be hard-working, out-going and a good team player.Experience of working in a city or medium/large provincial practice is desirable. You should have a keen interest in employment law and be able to discuss knowledgeably topical employment law issues. KNOWLEDGE OF:Advising on day-to-day HR and employment law issuesDrafting employment contracts, policies, and staff handbooksHandling and advising Settlement Agreements, Redundancy Matters, and Employment Tribunal claims Supporting corporate transactions with employment law input (TUPE, due diligence, etc.)Assisting with business development, client training sessions, and marketing initiativesExposure to both claimant and respondent employment workKEY SKILLS:• Sound legal knowledge, drafting and advisory skills • Experience of undertaking advocacy in court/chambers/tribunal setting• Experience of presenting to an audience• Commercial, practical and financial awareness• Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels• Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm• Problem ...</description>
