An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified or recently qualified Employment Solicitor to join a well-established and growing employment team in Greater Manchester.
This is an ideal role for an ambitious lawyer looking to develop their expertise across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Working with both businesses and individuals across a variety of sectors, you'll enjoy high-quality work, excellent client exposure and the support of an experienced and collaborative team.
The Role
You will manage a varied employment law caseload, advising clients on a wide range of workplace issues while delivering practical, commercially focused solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Drafting and advising on employment contracts, policies and procedures.
- Supporting clients with disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Advising on redundancy and TUPE issues.
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and related matters.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to provide a seamless client service.
- Building strong client relationships through responsive, high-quality legal advice.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors who can demonstrate:
- Newly Qualified status or above with experience in employment law.
- Experience of handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Strong technical knowledge combined with sound commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.
