A leading regional law firm seeks an Employment Solicitor (up to 5 years’ PQE) to join its established team in Oxfordshire on a full-time contract, with a salary of £55,000–£65,000 per annum depending on experience. The successful candidate will manage a varied and complex caseload, advising both employers and employees on contracts and policies, disciplinary and grievance issues, TUPE, redundancy and termination. Representing clients at Employment Tribunal proceedings and negotiation meetings forms part of the position, alongside drafting and reviewing employment documentation. Strong technical knowledge, clear communication and sound negotiation skills are essential. The practice offers robust support and genuine progression prospects for a solicitor keen to develop within a highly regarded employment department.

THE ROLE
You will advise a diverse client base on a broad range of employment law matters, including employment contracts and policies, disciplinary and grievance issues, TUPE, redundancy and termination. The role will involve representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and negotiation meetings, as well as drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements and workplace policies. You will also be expected to develop lasting client relationships and contribute to the team’s wider business development activities.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful applicant will be an Employment Solicitor with up to 5years’ experience advising both employers and employees. You will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of employment law, alongside excellent communication, negotiation and drafting skills. A proactive approach, sound commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering high quality client service are essential. You will also be keen to develop your expertise and progress within a leading employment practice.
