About the Role

This full-time post suits a qualified solicitor with at least five years' PQE, based in Suffolk. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload covering both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising employers and employees alike. Duties include managing tribunal claims, drafting contracts and policies, and supporting clients through settlement negotiations. Building and maintaining professional relationships forms a key part of the position. Strong technical knowledge, clear communication and independent case management skills are essential. The salary range is £45,000 to £65,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.

THE ROLE:
A varied role where you will advise both employers and employees across a broad range of employment law matters. You will be dealing with both contentious and non-contentious related matters as well as managing employment tribunal matters. In addition to handling your own caseload of matters you will also be expected to build and maintain strong client relationships and work as part of an established and supportive team.
THE CANDIDATE:
As the appointed Employment Solicitor, you will have at least 5 years PQE in advising both employers and employees on a broad range of employment matters. You must have Employment Tribunal experience along with proven technical expertise advising on both contentious and non-contentious related employment matters. Successful Employment Solicitors will have a proactive and commercial approach along with strong client care and communication skills.
