Role: Employment Solicitor Location: Derby, Derbyshire Contract: Full time, permanent Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Our client is an established and highly regarded law firm with a growing presence in the Derby market. They are looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor to join their team, with the role being open to candidates across a broad range of PQE levels. This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor looking to join a supportive team and take on a varied caseload, advising both employer and employee clients across a broad range of employment matters. The firm is open to considering candidates from NQ level through to more experienced Solicitors, with the level of responsibility and complexity of work tailored accordingly. The Role You will advise clients across a varied employment caseload, which may include: Employment Tribunal claims and litigation Unfair and wrongful dismissal Discrimination and whistleblowing matters Redundancy and restructuring Settlement agreements Disciplinary and grievance procedures Employment contracts, policies and procedures Restrictive covenants and confidentiality issues TUPE General day-to-day employment advice Supporting clients with contentious and non-contentious employment matters You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice while developing and managing your own caseload.
