The Role Join an established and highly regarded Employment Team based in Birmingham. Work predominantly on defendant-side employment matters, representing and advising employers and businesses. Support solicitors across a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Assist with Employment Tribunal claims, from ACAS Early Conciliation through to hearings. Gain exposure to unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE and breach of contract matters. Assist with the preparation of pleadings, witness statements, chronologies, bundles and legal correspondence. Conduct legal and factual research and prepare case summaries. Assist with settlement agreements, employment contracts, policies and HR-related advice. Review and organise evidence and supporting documentation.
