As an Employment Legal Director in Newcastle upon Tyne, you will join a growing team within a highly regarded national employment practice. You will advise a diverse client base on complex employment matters, develop strong client relationships and play a key role in business development and mentoring junior lawyers.Client DetailsThe firm is large commercial law firm recognised for its sector expertise, commercially focused advice and long standing client relationships, with lawyers working on complex, high quality matters that span sectors and borders.People development is a genuine priority, with regular training, tailored development programmes.DescriptionThe Employment Legal Director will be: Providing strategic and commercially focused employment advice to a broad client base Advising company owners, managers, HR professionals, in house lawyers and senior executives Handling the full range of employment matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals and redundancy Advising on complex Employment Tribunal claims, including whistleblowing and discrimination matters Working on corporate transactions, including TUPE and restructuring matters Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and other employment documentation Advising clients on investigations and wider employee relations issues Building and maintaining strong, long term client relationships Developing relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders across the wider firm Supervising junior ..... full job details .....
