Role: Employment Advisor Location: South YorkshireHours: Full-time, 35 hours per weekSalary: £16 - £20.50 (dependent on pay status)Start Date: ASAPDuration: Temp on going with a strong possibility of a permanent positionOur client is a values-led organisation committed to supporting people who face adversity, helping them build brighter futures through employment, training and holistic support. Working in partnership with other services and employers across South Yorkshire, they deliver strengths-based, trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing multiple barriers to employment, such as homelessness, a history of offending, or long-term unemployment.Key Responsibilities:• Manage a caseload of clients who may face complex barriers such as homelessness, a history of offending, or long-term unemployment• Provide one-to-one, tailored advice and guidance to help clients build confidence, develop skills and access sustainable employment, training or education opportunities• Design and deliver engaging group workshops and employability sessions focused on CV writing, interview skills, job searching and workplace expectations• Build strong, collaborative relationships with local employers, training providers and partner agencies to develop clear progression pathways• Promote the service through outreach, networking and community engagement, ensuring those most in need are reached and supported• Maintain high-quality, accurate case notes and evidence to demonstrate progress, ..... full job details .....
