Employment Advisor

Some jobs help people find work. This one helps people rebuild confidence, independence and a future. We''re recruiting four Employment Specialists to support people with disabilities and long-term health conditions into sustainable employment. You''ll spend your time meeting participants in the community, building relationships with local employers and helping people achieve something that can genuinely change their lives.

No two days are the same. One morning you might be helping someone prepare for an interview over a coffee. That afternoon you could be meeting an employer to create a new job opportunity.


What you''ll be doing:

• Managing a small caseload of participants.
  
  
• Supporting with CVs, job applications and interviews.
  
  
• Creating SMART action plans and helping people move into work quickly.
  
  
• Working alongside NHS teams, local authorities and community partners.
  
  
• Building relationships with employers and identifying suitable vacancies.
  
  
• Providing ongoing in-work support to help people sustain employment.
  
  

This is a community-based role, so you''ll spend most of your time out meeting participants and employers rather than sitting behind a desk.

Who we''re looking for: You might already be an Employment Advisor, Employment Specialist or Job Coach.

Or perhaps you''ve worked in B2B or B2C sales (recruitment consultants often excel in these roles) and are looking for a career with more purpose.

We''d also love to hear from graduates in subjects such as Psychology, Criminology, Sociology or Health & Social Care who have some sales experience or experience supporting vulnerable people.
