Employment Advisor Location: Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, DA6 7AT Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 6+ Months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 19.16 per hour Job Ref: OR10255 Responsibilities The role involves providing support to individuals who have been out of work for extended periods, helping them to overcome barriers to employment. Key responsibilities include: Managing a high volume or complex caseload, supporting clients in their job search activities and developing realistic action plans. Organizing and coordinating employment interviews and referrals for training to aid individuals in accessing sustainable employment. Delivering employability support using models such as Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF). Developing and delivering workshops on various topics, including CV preparation, interview techniques, and job clubs. Maintaining accurate client records, tracking activity, and producing weekly reports on caseload and outcomes. Protecting personal data in line with GDPR and other relevant legislation. Continually developing industry knowledge and maintaining internal relationships to ensure optimal client support. Promoting and supporting the Council''s policies and procedures for safeguarding.
