Employee Relations Specialist

Our client, a leading national health and social care Charity now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join their team in the role of Employee Relations Specialist. This is a full time and permanent home-based role, with some occasional travel required, offering a salary of up to 40,000 per annum, plus attractive benefits. As a subject matter expert on all things Employee Relations, this role will ideally suit someone currently working as a Senior HR Advisor or Employee Relations Partner, with complex case work forming a core part of their role, who wants to really hone their ER skills and experience. Reporting to (and deputising for) the Employee Relations Manager, you will use your employee relations expertise to provide creative, practical People solutions and specialist advice to both managers and employees, including the management of complex casework. Key responsibilities will include: Ensuring that People advice provided is in line with organisational policies and procedures, best practice and employment legislation in order to minimise the risk to the organisationActing as a mentor and coach to People Advisers, supporting their growth and ensuring employment law and practice knowledge is consistently up to dateActing as the escalation point for contentious complex cases and overseeing the case management of any potential gross misconduct or dismissals, whilst ensuring case work is managed robustly, fairly and in a timely and legally ..... full job details .....
