Aon is currently recruiting a Team Leader with responsibility for a team of consultants across Healthcare and Risk Benefits.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our newly created SME team in a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of a Team Leader and a Consultant. This player-manager position will involve managing a portfolio of clients while leading a team of SME Employee Benefits Consultants to deliver exceptional client outcomes and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor for a portfolio of clients, providing expert consulting advice in Health and Risk Benefits.Lead and mentor a team of consultants, setting performance expectations and fostering a high-performance culture.Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure retention and identify new business opportunities.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions and maximize client value.Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones, ensuring alignment with client outcomes and business goals.Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements to support compliance and innovation.Champion Aon’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and support professional development within the team.Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, accurate forecasting, and effective pipeline management.

Skills And Experience

Proven expertise in Health and Benefits consulting, with a sound understanding of both risk and healthcare.Strong people management and leadership capabilities.Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skills.Commercial acumen and ability to plan and execute growth strategies.Knowledge of FCA requirements and standards.Experience working with SME clients is preferred.
