This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.Day-to-day of the role:Work directly with students to provide emotional support through planned sessions, using strategies tailored to individual needs.Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to identify students who would benefit from emotional literacy support and develop personalised plans.Implement interventions to promote emotional awareness, resilience, and social skills.Monitor and record students'' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in emotional literacy support.Required Skills and Qualifications:ELSA QualificationExperience in a support role within a school environment, preferably with a focus on emotional and psychological support.Understanding of the challenges faced by secondary school students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage empathetically with students.Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of ..... full job details .....
