Better places, thriving communities.Responsible for managing daily operations in accordance with BMW and Mitie policy and procedures within the confines of UK workplace and HandS regulations, best practice and law. To manage the day to day operational requirements of the contract in line with customer and contractual expectations. To be the initial contact on operational security matters, ensuring a consistent quality service delivery and prompt responses to all incidents.Main Duties

Medical emergency response – respond to requests, provide 1st aid on scene, escalate to and liaise with external services, complete accident forms, report writing, Corsica. Manage 1st aid requests through the Occupational Health Department (out of duty hours). Create accident reports, medical reports, medical log, and transfer requests between OHD and hospital. Respond to spillages with potential environmental contamination (oil, paint, solvents, petrol/diesel, etc.); contain, clean up, escalate, report; BA trained; use gas detection equipment, PPE, spill kits, vetta drainage inflation equipment.Flood response – pumping, creation of dams, clean up, reporting.Plan, organize, conduct and control operations as per the individual site instructions. Carry out operational audits of site equipment and paperwork. Plan and participate in on-site training per training programme.Act as a key contact for all daily operational security matters across the site. Be responsible for security activities and standards of all security personnel, ensuring incidents are managed and responded to according to policies and procedures. Provide a highly visible security presence on and around the site. Operate internal and external patrols, car park patrols, and apply restrictions as required.Respond to emergencies immediately and request assistance as required. Report incidents on and around the site. Implement the search policy as instructed by BMW. Carry out initial investigations and report writing on incidents, accidents, damage, suspicious activities and parking.Perform as instructed locking and unlocking duties. Ensure that all Policies and Procedures for BMW and Mitie are followed. Brief security teams on events or changes in procedures. Report and liaise daily with the PA5S and Mitie Management teams to ensure effective communication of the delivery of a high standard professional security and response service. Ensure Health and Safety Files (including Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks) are up to date and reflect legal and company HandS requirements. Ensure understanding of WI''s, AI''s and HandS documentation.What we are looking for

A Level or equivalent in English and Maths preferred. NEBOSH or IOSH preferred. FREC 3 or FAAW as a minimum. Full and current driving license – HGV desirable but not mandatory. License to be checked prior to driving company vehicles.Physically fit to pass a site-related medical. Clean shaven for (BA) Breathing Apparatus. No aversion to working at height or in confined spaces.Excellent communication skills are essential – report writing, 1-2-1 dialogues, radio communications, logbook entries.Benefits
