Emergency Placement Worker

The successful applicant will work with the team to provide support to vulnerable rough sleepers who access our services throughout the night. IT skills would be advantageous, however full training will be provided. New Start is a family run not-for-profit organisation providing residential and supported accommodation services for vulnerable adults, families, and young people.In return we offerA rolling 3 on 3 off rota working 4.00pm to 12.00am - 26.25 hours per week.£18359.93 per annum158 Hours Annual LeaveLearning and Development Opportunities up to and including Level 5Company Pension SchemeMedicash and Employee Assistance ProgrammeMain DutiesTo support the Leyland Road''s team in delivering Sefton''s Crash Bed service.Planning future long and short-term accommodation and resettlement options via a personalised support plan aimed at removing barrios to accommodation. To work within the framework of New Start and the wider Sefton Supported Housing Group''s policies and procedures. Being present within the Night Shelter during working hours, to offer on-going support to those who are accessing the provision.Upon arrival into the Night Shelter, Mainstay will be updated, ensuring that a placement is added.
