The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of lighting design, emergency lighting requirements, relevant British Standards and lighting design software. They will be responsible for producing lighting calculations, layouts, technical drawings and design documentation, ensuring systems meet project specifications, statutory requirements and client expectations. Key Responsibilities Design and develop internal and external lighting systems for commercial, industrial and public-sector buildings. Produce emergency lighting designs in accordance with BS 5266-1 and relevant standards. Carry out lighting calculations, lux-level assessments and emergency lighting coverage assessments. Use lighting design software to produce calculations, layouts, specifications and technical reports. Develop lighting layouts, luminaire schedules, circuit information and installation drawings. Specify suitable luminaires, emergency lighting fittings, exit signs... Contract
