THE ROLE

With a focus on EMEA rates, execute cash and derivatives trades for MFS funds and clients, and contribute to the MFS trading and investment process.WHAT YOU WILL DO

Execute EMEA rates, FX and related derivatives trades as requiredContribute to EM, other cash and multi-asset trading as part of the London trading teamBlock and tackle execution processes and related communication with the investment teamSource, filter, develop and distribute relevant economic and market color, as well as trade ideas, to the investment teamDevelop MFS trading capabilities considering evolving market structures, technology platforms, trading protocols and investment capabilitiesCollaborate with and assist functional teams throughout the firm, including operations, compliance, client services and the broader trading teamDevelop and maintain strong internal and external relationships for the purpose of delivering on the above responsibilitiesFollow and support MFS policies and procedures, including best execution, trade allocation and more as requiredAssume additional responsibilities as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum of 12-15 years of rates and derivatives trading or related experiencePassion for and thorough understanding of relevant markets and investmentsExperience with order management systems, electronic trading platforms and traditional voice trading practicesStrong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skillsStrong organizational and decision-making skillsEntrepreneurial and proactive mindset#LI-HYBRIDAt MFS, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace.
