EMC Test Technician

Whether you''re newly qualified or have previous industry experience, full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop your career in a highly technical and rewarding environment.The RoleWorking alongside experienced engineers, you will support the testing, installation and maintenance of specialist EMC test equipment while ensuring all work is carried out to UKAS and company standards.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out EMC testing on customer equipment under the guidance of qualified engineers.Setting up, monitoring and dismantling EMC test systems.Installing, commissioning and maintaining specialist test equipment.Recording accurate test and calibration results in accordance with company procedures.Assisting with laboratory housekeeping and equipment maintenance.Performing routine health and safety checks on electrical equipment.Reporting equipment faults and ensuring testing is completed within agreed timescales.Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with UKAS quality standards.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
