Embedded V and V Software Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an Embedded V and V Software Engineer to join on an initial 6 -month contract. Role: Embedded V and V Software Engineer Pay: 70 per hour via umbrella Location: Bristol Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week, 6 Months contract IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: SC required to startResponsibilities You will be responsible for the verification and validation activities on real-time systems application software for the next generation of Missile Systems.The role requires taking requirements, developing them into robust test cases, preparing and executing tests, capturing data, and delivering actionable feedback to project teams.You will have to draw upon your strong practical problem-solving skills, data acquisition expertise, and adaptability.Essential Skills and Qualifications Strong experience of VandV activities in an embedded software environment.Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamGood communication skillsGood documentation skillsAbility to turn requirements into structured test cases and procedures.Experience of working in a lab environment on an electro mechanical product running embedded software.Good working knowledge of the complete software engineering lifecycle.Scripting abilitiesEmbedded software development experience using C/C++.
