      <description>Location: Bristol | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Embedded Software Engineer Location: Bristol Working: Hybrid Salary: Circa £50,000 DOE  We are working with an established technology business developing safety-critical embedded software. They are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their Bristol team, with opportunities across both software development and verification.  The role will involve contributing to product development, including porting software across different processor architectures, testing against recognised safety standards, and producing detailed design and test documentation.  Key Responsibilities  Design, develop and test embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded systems. Contribute to RTOS product development and processor porting. Work with C and assembler at a low level. Debug software and hardware integration issues. Support software verification, validation and certification activities. Produce detailed design, test and safety documentation. Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement. Work with engineering teams and customers to understand requirements.
