Embedded Software Engineer - MATLAB/Simulink and Electric VehiclesWarwick/Hybrid | £55,000-£75,000VIQU has partnered with a leading manufacturer of specialist commercial vehicles.The business is recruiting an Embedded Software Engineer to support a major vehicle development programme, replacing an existing platform with a new electric vehicle platform.You will develop and integrate production-intent Embedded software, turning stakeholder requirements into vehicle functionality and control systems. This is a hands-on engineering role covering model-based development, software implementation, systems integration, verification and vehicle testing.You will work with MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded C/C++ and vehicle communication technologies, supporting the software through model, software, hardware-in-the-loop and vehicle-based testing. The position also offers involvement in vehicle commissioning, calibration, functional safety and Embedded cybersecurity.Key Responsibilities Develop Embedded control software for an electric vehicle application.Use MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development techniques to implement vehicle functionality.Translate stakeholder requirements into production-quality Embedded software.Integrate software into a new vehicle platform and support production deployment.Use software verification tools to assess code coverage and software structure.Implement and execute tests that demonstrate compliance with defined requirements.Support model-in-the-loop, ..... full job details .....
