Embedded Software EngineerContract - Inside IR35PortsmouthWe are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to support a small, enthusiastic team of engineers delivering innovative technology solutions for our key customers.What you will doPrototype innovative wireless solutions.Develop Embedded software and firmware in C/C++, mainly on platforms such as Microblaze or RISC-V.Work in an agile environment to build prototypes.Take proven prototypes forward to a deployment-ready standard.Work with Embedded Linux, including tools such as Buildroot and Yocto.Configure U-Boot, Kernel and device trees.Build and deploy Embedded Linux systems in offline environments.Essential skillsExperience programming Embedded systems in C/C++.Experience with bare-metal and Embedded Linux environments.Experience with Linux device drivers, including DMA, interrupts and device trees.Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing.Knowledge of software defined radio.Please note due to the nature of this role candidates must either hold current SC clearance or be willing to go through the SC clearance process.Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien andamp; SRG - The Vertage Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
