Embedded Software Engineer

Our client is a world leader in missile and missile systems, seeking an adaptable Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing Software team in Bristol. As part of their growing dynamic Software team, you will develop the latest mission-critical defence systems. You''ll be developing critical missile control software, contributing across the full Software Development Life Cycle. You will work as part of a medium-sized team and be empowered to work individually with little supervision.Role: Embedded Software Engineer Pay: up to 70 per hour via Umbrella Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week, 6-month contract Location: Bristol - onsite IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: Security Clearance required to startResponsibilities:Development on Linux of Embedded Real-Time software using Rhapsody and C++ in a multi-threaded Application to software requirements and ICDs.Writing unit/functional tests and conduct integration testing with the target hardware.Adhering to the agreed Project Planning and Project Quality processes.Use JIRA for project management and issue trackingThe role will involve working within a lab environment running software on target hardware. Requirements:Significant experience of developing and debugging Real time Software applications using C++.Considerable experience of Rhapsody UML or other model-driven development tool.Extensive experience in developing functional and integration tests as well as simulation and hardware testing.Proven experience ..... full job details .....
