Embedded Software Engineer

I''m recruiting on behalf of an established engineering business in Tewkesbury who are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer on a 12 month contract (Outside IR35)

The work involves development of low-level C code and C++ on Embedded Linux in the cyber, IoT and telecommunications space.-

ROLE:-Embedded Software Engineer

LOCATION:-Tewkesbury (2-3 days on-site required)

RATE:-Up to -450pd

IR35:-Outside

DURATION:-12 months

Required skills for the Senior Embedded Software Engineer are:

• C and C++
• Embedded Linux development (Yocto / Buildroot or kernel development beneficial)
• Comms protocols UART, CAN, SPI / I2C
• IoT or narrow-band RF exposure (WiFi, GSM, Bluetooth, Ethernet)

• Knowledge of security protocols for encryption / cyber in embedded development is beneficial
