The successful candidate will be welcomed on board a small engineering team to design and develop bespoke products in a project-based environment. The core of your work will be developing embedded firmware for Xilinx FPGA's (VHDL) and PIC microcontrollers (C, C++). Essential skills: Formal qualification such as HNC/HND/BEng. At least 1-3 years of experience in embedded firmware for microcontrollers. Excellent C/C++ coding skills. Experience of working with microcontrollers, preferable with PIC microcontrollers but not essential. Ability to derive firmware architectures & requirements from System requirements. Desirable Skills: Good understanding of analogue and digital circuit designs. Ability to carry out schematic designs. Knowledge of developing GUI applications is an advantage.
