      <description>Location: Cheltenham | Salary: &amp;pound;45000 - &amp;pound;80000/annum + Bonus &amp;amp; equity | Type: Permanent | I'm recruiting for a successful business in Cheltenham who are looking to hire an Embedded Software Engineer to develop protocols/interfaces for their products.  The work involves development of ARM/STM miroprocessors, interfacing with comms protocols (BLE, MQTT, GPRS, I2C/SPI, UART) for telecoms, security, surveillance and robotics related products.   ROLE:  Embedded Software Engineer   LOCATION:  Cheltenham   SALARY:  up to £80,000 p/a   Skills required for the Embedded Software Engineer are:  	 Embedded C  	 Microcontrollers (ideally ARM/STM) 	 Comms protocols (MQTT, BLE, GPRS, I2C SPI, UART) 	 Design for safety-critical applications or products used in harsh-environments     Although they can offer some flexibility around working hours (start/end times), the work must be done  on-site  with the rest of the team.
