      <description>Location: Highworth | Salary: 5000.00-5000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Role: Embedded Software engineer or Physics and mathematical engineer Location: Swindon My client is looking to hire a Experienced Embedded Engineer or Software engineer with good Physics and mathematical skills.  Must have C++ and Python skills with a clear aptitude to learn the optical, image processing, and mechanics of a surface scanning device.  In an ideal world , we would find a embedded optical/optronics engineer that has been actively involved in the development of various imaging technologies (might include focus variation, interferometry, structured light, etc).  The person would have a strong knowledge of embedded systems, including the firmware and application development.  Tech stack: C++, Python, MATLAB and a bonus is Optics, Zemax and MATLAB but can be taught.
