Embedded Electronics & Firmware Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced Embedded/Electronics-to join a growing engineering team, helping to develop and enhance a range of life safety-products from concept through to production. This is an opportunity to work on innovative technology, contributing across the full product lifecycle within a collaborative R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing analogue and digital electronic circuits for embedded systems
• Developing embedded firmware in C for microcontroller-based products
• Supporting products throughout their lifecycle, including component selection and obsolescence management
• Modifying mechanical designs where required using CAD

What We''re Looking For:

• Experience in embedded electronics product development
• Strong embedded firmware development experience (Embedded C)
• Analogue and digital electronics design experience
• PCB design and schematic capture experience
• Experience managing component lifecycles and obsolescence
• Some exposure to mechanical design/CAD
