Working alongside experienced legal leaders, you''ll manage a high-quality caseload while helping to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the department.The OpportunityYou''ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of litigated and pre-litigated Employers'' Liability and Public Liability matters, including:Fast Track claims.Complex MOJ Portal matters.Non-Portal EL/PL claims.Part 7 and Part 8 litigation through to Trial.This is a hands-on fee-earning role with genuine opportunities to influence team development, provide technical guidance and help shape best practice within the department.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a varied caseload of EL/PL files from inception through to settlement or Trial.Handle litigated matters including Part 7 and Part 8 proceedings.Draft witness statements, court applications and instructions to Counsel.Prepare Trial bundles and ensure compliance with Court directions.Accurately value claims for both general and special damages.Identify litigation opportunities and develop the ..... full job details .....
