The Opportunity
As an Electronics Training Instructor, you will deliver engaging and practical training covering:
- Electronic maintenance principles
- Fault-finding and diagnostic techniques
- Engineering fundamentals
- Technical best practices
Working alongside an experienced team of instructors, you''ll play a key role in developing the next generation of engineering professionals through high-quality training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training in electronics and engineering principles.
- Teach groups of up to 16 learners.
- Support learners undertaking technical engineering programmes.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development and fellow instructors.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and delivery methods.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support practical workshops and hands-on learning activities.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Electronics, electrical, or engineering experience gained through industry or military service.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing others.
- Previous training, coaching, mentoring, or instructional experience, or a genuine desire to move into a training-focused role.
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
Desirable
- Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or classroom-based learning.
- Knowledge of defence, military, or highly regulated engineering environments.
- Level 4 Teaching Qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous instructional or coaching experience.
