Electronics Test Technicians/Engineers

Our client, a large Defence and Security Supplier is looking for Electronics Test Engineers and Technicians to join them on a contract basis at their site in Glenrothes. Due to the nature of the roles, applicants must hold the British nationality and resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.Up to 45-58 p/h Umbrella depending on experience, inside IR35Monday to Thursday, 9.25 hours per day12 month contract Tasks include:Diagnose and fault find complex electronic assemblies to component levelTest electronic assembliesDiagnose test equipment and faultsMaintenance and calibration for test equipmentRecord tests, failure and yield reportsSupport engineering investigationsProcess improvement tasks in test areaRF projects The successful candidate will be qualified in electronics e.g. HNC, HND, Degree. Ideally with Radio Frequency (RF) skills as part of electronic skillset and previous experience of testing analogue and digital electronic assemblies down to component level and working on circuits. Candidates will need to demonstrate experience in a similar environment e.g. using test and debug lab equipment and working in a complex electronic manufacturing engineering role.
