Electronics Test Engineer

Role: Electronics Test EngineerLocation: ExeterSalary: Up to 50,000 depending on experience Our client is looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to support both product development and quality assurance across a range of electronic products.Working with low-voltage systems such as wireless charging, USB power, and motor-driven devices, you''ll help ensure performance and reliability in demanding environments.This varied role offers a 50/50 split between development and testing, perfect for someone who enjoys both building and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include:Product Development (50%)Support development of new and existing electronic productsBuild, modify, and test prototypes and pre-production unitsCarry out functional and performance testing on PCBs and assembliesAnalyse electronic circuits including: Power regulation and protectionUSB and wireless charging systemsMotor control and feedback circuitsReview designs against standards.Interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materialsIdentify design issues and support continuous improvementCollaborate with engineering teams on product iterationsQuality Assurance and Testing (50%)Perform verification and validation testing against product requirementsConduct testing on production units and incoming electronic assembliesInvestigate failures from: Production testingEnvironmental and endurance testingCustomer returnsCarry out component- and PCB-level fault findingIdentify root causes and support corrective actions ..... full job details .....
