Electronics QA Inspector

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced QA Inspector / Electronics Test Technician to join their quality team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone-who enjoys a varied role involving inspection, testing, fault finding and quality assurance. You will play a key role in ensuring electronic products meet customer specifications and the highest quality standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect PCB assemblies and electronic products.
• Carry out functional testing of electronic assemblies and finished products.
• Diagnose faults to component level and complete repairs where required.
• Investigate returned products and identify root causes of failures.
• Identify, report and help resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process control activities.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection, test and quality documentation.
• Support the company''s ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including internal audits.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are consistently achieved.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Experience inspecting and testing electronic products.
• A good understanding of SMT and PCB assembly processes..
• The ability to fault find to component level.
• Experience repairing and reworking electronic assemblies.
• A strong understanding of quality control within electronics manufacturing.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
