The job is straightforward to describe and genuinely interesting to do, find faults on circuit card assemblies fast, and fix the test packages so they do not happen again. You will work on a SPEA 4050S2 flying probe system, building new test packages from the initial data pack through to a robust, deployable package the manufacturing floor can run with confidence. When products change, you will update and improve what already exists, digging into statistical test data to lift yield and cut test time. There is a diagnostic side too. Working alongside the wider test engineering team, you will trace faults down to component level on analogue and digital PCBs, using oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators as standard kit. Flying Probe experience is a bonus, not a requirement. What matters more is a background in electronics, a methodical approach to fault finding, and the patience to get a test package right rather than just working.
