Electronics Hardware Engineer

FINTEC recruit is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Hardware Engineer to join their engineering team, working on complex airborne radar systems. This is a permanent role based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for an electronics engineer with experience in high-speed digital design, FPGA and microprocessor-based systems to work on technically challenging projects within the aerospace and defence sector. The Role As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, commissioning and testing of high-speed digital electronics hardware and Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCAs) for complex airborne radar products. You ll work closely with other engineering disciplines throughout the development lifecycle, supporting the integration and verification of hardware, firmware and software. Key responsibilities include: Designing high-quality and robust digital electronics hardware Supporting the design and development of high-speed digital PCAs Supporting hardware and system-level integration and verification activities Producing and maintaining technical documentation and project deliverables Ensuring designs remain under configuration control Supporting technical reviews and design activities Providing regular project progress updates Coordinating day-to-day technical activities with lead engineers and other disciplines Working closely with Manufacturing, Production and external suppliers Essential Skills and Experience You should have strong ..... full job details .....
