This role involves ongoing support and development of essential infrastructure equipment built around this iconic processor. The systems are critical to long-term operations, and support is expected to continue well into the future. In addition to work with the 68000, there will be opportunities to work on analogue electronics, as well as other microprocessor architectures used across different systems. An understanding of the Motorola 68000 architecture, embedded systems, or hardware troubleshooting is essential. You should be comfortable working with schematics, mixed-signal systems, and low-level hardware or firmware, and have a genuine enthusiasm for keeping classic technology alive and operational.
