Electronics Engineer (On-Site)

Established for over 25 years our client is a leader in lighting control systems. They offer turn-key solutions, from pre-commissioning and CAD design through to on-site commissioning, all managed by their in-house experts and the company is passionate about innovation and excellence in everything they do.
Due to sustained period of growth in a rapidly expanding market, they are now seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to join their team in High Wycombe. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge lighting control technologies and new product development projects.
You’ll be responsible for:

Designing and testing electronic circuits, PCB schematics and layouts.

Developing products such as DALI drivers, Bluetooth communication devices, sensors, and PoE switches.

Setting up and managing long-term product testing and evaluation.

Ensuring designs comply with industry regulations (e.g. EMC, LVD).

Supporting new product launches, fault finding and in-house testing.

Collaborating with colleagues, suppliers and manufacturers to deliver innovative, reliable solutions.
The role will require someone with:

A degree, HND, apprenticeship or equivalent in Electronic Engineering.

Experience in electronic circuit design and PCB layout.

Hands-on testing, debugging, and compliance knowledge.

Familiarity with industry standards (EMC, LVD).

Excellent problem-solving, organisational and teamwork skills.
-
A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience with lighting control systems or embedded/Bluetooth devices is a bonus.
