Electronics Engineer - NPI / Manufacturing

An Electronics Engineer with a good understanding of DFM/DFA/DFT and proven design experience using PCB CAD tools will become a key member of a new NPI team for an award-winning High-Tech Company designing imaging solutions for Security, Defence and Industrial customers. Working closely with RandD, manufacturing and quality teams you''ll be responsible for leading the electronics aspects of transitioning products from development through to scalable manufacturing; drawing on your electronics and PCB assembly manufacturing knowledge.Qualified to Degree level in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline, the successful Electronics Engineer will get involved with the design and development of a mission critical range of imaging systems used Worldwide.Key Skills and Experience should include:Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline.Commercial experience of electronic design using PCB CAD tools such as Altium.Proven understanding of DFM/DFA/DFT.Experience supporting products from prototype through to production for low to medium volume products.Strong understanding of PCB assembly, electronics integration and production test methods.Experience of complex designs including microcontrollers, analogue circuits and power supplies.Exposure to video standards and USB great to see as is an understanding of software for automation and experience designing products to military standards.Applicants must have permanent eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions. ..... full job details .....
