This is a 6-month contract requiring onsite presence to support the development of the Hostile Artillery Locating System (HALO). HALO is an advanced long-range acoustic weapon locating system designed to address the growing threats from electronic warfare and anti-radar weapon systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop hardware solutions, including the design of in-house PCBsAssist Systems Engineers in developing requirements and architectureSupport the integration of hardware, firmware, and softwareParticipate in qualification activities and trials provingDocument and record work products, manage configurations, and provide progress reportsWork within a multi-disciplined team to resolve technical issuesJob Requirements:Electronics-based qualification (BTEC, HND, or Apprenticeship) or sufficient experienceUnderstanding of all stages of the engineering development lifecycleFamiliarity with circuit design (schematic capture) and simulation toolsPractical experience in Hardware, Firmware and Software Integration of Microprocessor Based designsExperience integrating in-house designs with COTS modules (power supplies, single board computers, RF interfaces)Proficiency in debugging, testing, and verifying new designsMethodical ..... full job details .....
