The key aim of this role is the repair, modification and overhaul of associated train equipment.Key Duties and Responsibilities Work on own initiative or as part of a team within a dedicated team of electricians, working to production deadlines. Carry out repairs, modifications and overhauls of electronic equipment in accordance with work instructions and schematics. Be flexible to work in any assembly area, accepting varying shift patterns and assist in non assembly areas when required. Investigate, fault find, and diagnose equipment that does not achieve required outputs or fit correctly and correct faults where possible. Ensure all quality requirements are met by working to technical documents and work instructions. Carry out minor maintenance tasks and specified routine preventative maintenance, some of which may be outside assembly areas.
