Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their team at their preferred sites in either Dorset or West London. This permanent position offers a hybrid work model, with 2/3 days onsite preferred. The role may involve occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing solutions and solving complex problems to deliver engineering projects on-time, on-quality, and within budget
- Writing reports and presenting work at peer and design reviews
- Developing processes for the team and providing technical advice to influence decisions
- Staying current on trends and emerging technologies and tools
- Training, coaching, and advising more junior team members
- Estimating engineering packages of work to identify dependencies and ensure deliverability
- Ensuring safety, environmental protection, and compliance in all tasks
Job Requirements:
- Experience in electronics design and engineering
- Ability to develop solutions for complex engineering problems
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Experience in providing technical advice and influencing decisions
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in electronics engineering
- Bachelor''s degree (or equivalent) in a related field
- Eligibility for SC clearance
