This is a hands-on R&D position where you’ll take ownership of electronics development from initial requirements and concept through PCB design, prototyping, validation, approvals and manufacture. Depending on experience, there is also scope to lead electronics workstreams and help influence future products and technology. The Role Analogue and digital electronic design Schematic capture and PCB design/layout Prototype development, testing and debugging Product approvals, design validation and EMC compliance DFM, DFT, FMEA and design-for-cost activities Low-level firmware development and modification Supporting products throughout the full development lifecycle Working closely with firmware, software, mechanical and other engineering teams Researching new technologies for future product development Taking ownership of technical workstreams and engineering decisions At Senior level, you may also mentor other engineers and contribute to the future technology roadmap.
